The Eighth Spring Researchers Colloquium on Databases and Information Systems 2012
Conference Program has been published.
SYRCoDIS is an annual colloquium directed to researchers specializing in the area of databases and information systems. The goal of the colloquium is to help young researchers to be acquainted with the work of their colleagues, to exchange experiences and to practice in delivering reports at international conferences.
In recent years, SYRCoDIS has become the major annual meeting of the Russian research community in the database and information systems fields. Best papers of the colloquium are published in journals recommended by Higher Attestation Commission of Russia.
Since this year program committee decided to remove limits for the participants’ age. We hope this will increase size of conference community and make presentations more interesting.
Previous SYRCoDIS colloquiums were held in Saint Petersburg (2004, 2005, 2008, and 2009) and Moscow (2006, 2007, 2011). Program committee selected reports covering such fields of database and information systems research as XML databases, information retrieval and data mining, query processing, natural language processing applications, etc. The Web sites of the previous SYRCoDIS colloquiums can be found at the main SYRCoDIS Web Site.
